Feeling hot hot hot

I logged onto to the weather website Wunderground today.

This is what it said the weather would be in Kyiv:

Temperature in the thirties? With continuously sunny weather? I don't believe it.

Well, sometimes Wunderground gets it wrong, so I decided to check with the source of all things true and solemn -
BBC Weather.

Holy freakin' shite! 34 degrees? In Kyiv? Where, only three months ago, it was minus 18?

I really don't get the weather in this part of the world. But I think it's time to buy a fan.

All of a sudden, this doesn't look like a bad prospect:

Too hot too hot -

I prefer the milder 80° (26.7°C)

I melt in the other heat.

Exactly what sort of Australian are you? Can't work a barbie, don't like it hot. Next thing you'll be saying you don't have one of those hats with corks on.

Dear pamela. I don't mind the 80s, personally, probably because I was born then, so the weather suits me just fine.

Dear sarahemily. You could have gone for a dip in the Dneipr.

Dear beccy. I'm blowing my little lungs out in the westward direction. Hopefully there's enough umph to get the sun over the Alps and to Ireland in no time.

Dear melissa. But you have a pool to dip into! Ahh... I love summer.

Dear pumpernickel. You're kidding - frost in May! Yes, let's split the difference (although, it did snow in Kyiv while we were in Krim).

Dear claudia. Yes, I tend to agree. I love the sun.

Dear Karmyn. You're an 80s girl like me! I have to say, though, that I like it when it's a bit humid.

Dear stephanie. Wow thanks! I know that you've had the hot weather. Now just don't send any warm thoughts to the poles (no! Not polish people. I mean the arctic and antarctic!)

Dear anonymouse. Didn't say I don't like the warm weather! Just having a whinge. It's my British side coming out.

Dear chrisb. Oh no! Hopefully when I'm blowing the wind in the direction of Beccy, it will stop with you first.

Dear theotherbear. Truly. I'm a normal aussie chick. Seriously. I kill spiders and cockroaches and walk around in bare feet.

Dear willowtree. You won't want to. See today's post.
